Phone ticket sellers:
Call members and friends of CAIR-WA to have them buy tickets via phone from CAIR-WA office.
Time commitment:
At least 10 hours per week from March 15 through May 1, 2017.
Ticket sellers:
Set goals to sell a number of tickets at mosques and community events, distribute event fliers and post posters, and ensure that event is properly announced at local mosques and community events.
Time commitment:
At least 2 hours per week from March 15 to May 1, 2017.
Web designer/developers:
Consistently update our Joomla-based website with new content, including press releases, action alerts, project information, responses, news and events, and more.
Requirements:
A portfolio of past work illustrating previous experience, skills, interest, and perspective; Very strong writing and proof-reading ability; Knowledge of HTML (knowledge of Javascript a plus)
Time commitment:
This position is not limited to banquet planning, so a minimum six month, six hours per week commitment is required for this position.
Other positions:
We also need experienced persons to volunteer as ‘ticket master’ and registration management, copy editor, outreach to government and other officials, or another way you would like to volunteer your special skills, talents and expertise!
Time commitment for these positions:
at least 5 hours per week from March 15 through May 1, 2017, plus 10 hours during the week of the event (May 2 to May 7) plus being able to fully participate in event set up, execution and wrap-up from 10am to 9pm on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
