Did you attend the Seattle Women's March 2.0? We did, in solidarity with over 100,000 friends and allies who marched together for justice and issues that affect so many of us. We marched for undocumented women fighting for DACA, for black women who have been impacted by police brutality, for everyone who relates to #MeToo, and so many more issues of intersectionality that unite us all.

As we wrap up 2017, CAIR-WA wants to thank YOU!
We've been busy all year at CAIR-WA, and our work wouldn't be possible without so many of you! We want to thank everyone who reported incidents to CAIR-WA and who encouraged their family and friends to report to us to bring their cases to justice. Thank you to all of the donors who continue to support the fight defending religious freedom for all. Thank you to all of our allies and advocates who know how important it is to uplift one another's voices in this critical time.

CAIR welcomes a block on Muslim Ban 3.0 by federal judge Derrick K. Watson of Hawaii! The Muslim Ban 3.0 is the latest version of the president's controversial travel ban. Judge Watson's decision means that the administration cannot restrict the entry of travelers from six of the eight countries targeted by the ban, which was to go into effect on October 18th.

Welcome to our now-monthly CAIR-WA newsletter. We keep you connected to tips, news, services and events, like this July's " Our Time to Shine!" Did you know only 3% of American Muslims work in media and politics? You can help change that!v"Our Time to Shine" is a project designed to drastically increase the number of American Muslim youth who enter careers in media and politics by having them volunteer with a political campaign of their choice.
