CAIR Washington Board of Directors’ Statement regarding allegations in a recent NPR article

(SEATTLE, WA, 4/28/2021) – CAIR Washington takes any allegations of misconduct or harassment seriously and calls for them to be investigated thoroughly. It is essential to stand with women who are fighting to feel safe, respected, and on equal footing no matter their faith or practice. Indeed, that is part of our mission as a civil rights organization, particularly one with a predominantly female staff.

CAIR Washington strives to foster an environment of equality and respect, with zero tolerance for harassment. Our greatest strength is our diversity, and we will continue our efforts to lead by example to ensure a safe and respectful working environment for all.
